Downtown Seattle - Day 2

A week ago today, Harry and I spent the day in downtown, fabulous, Seattle. We are sad to be home but can still remember the day with fond memories.

Harry and I started the day with a harbor tour on Puget Sound. It was a beautiful 78 degrees this day with only about 65% humidity... compared to today in NC where it is already 95 degrees with about 95% humidity.

The view of downtown Seattle from Puget Sound.

Pier 70 with the Space Needle in the background.

This is one of the ports used back during WWII for the battleships.

The Olympic Mountain Range.

Harry and I enjoying the view and some of the wonderful beer of Seattle.

Mount Rainier as seen from Puget Sound.

Downtown Seattle, again, but this time from further away.

While we were on Puget Sound we saw a bald eagle sitting on a freighter. It was so beautiful!

The cruise ship port of Seattle.

After we took our cruise we toured Mercer Island and visited the State Park there.

We really wanted to join these kayakers on the lake.
