Easter 2014

Our little family had a great Easter this past Sunday. Here are some pictures of our day.

Our day began with a visit from the Easter Bunny and an egg hunt.

He was a very generous bunny and left Alaina jelly beans, quarters, and a dollar bill!

Alaina also got a ribbon wand in Easter Basket and really enjoyed playing with it.

After our egg hunt, we were off to church.

But not before playing with the ribbon wand again.

And taking a few family pictures.

NC Aquarium

On Monday, it started to rain in Wilmington so we headed to the NC Aquarium.

Alaina loved looking at the fish.

This picture has a funny story... Alaina was looking at the alligators and we told her to turn around for a picture. She didn't want to turn her back on the gators because she was afraid they were going to get her. We finally convinced her to turn around and this was the face she was making. Everyone around us cracked up and we finally got a smile out of Alaina.

Finally happy.

The NC Aquarium has an albino alligator... there are only 50 alive in the world. We really liked him.

Finally, this is a helmet head crab from the touch tank.
We really enjoyed our visit to the aquarium and visiting with my parents.

Spring Break Beach Trips

This week is my Spring Break... woohoo! Harry took off Monday and Tuesday of this week, too, so we could go visit my parents in Wilmington and visit the beach.

We had 2 great beach days... even through the water was a little (ok, a LOT) cold.

We found time to build sandcastles.

We saw dolphins....

lots of dolphins (and a few brave people who swam out in the cold water to see them).

My parents got Alaina a heart bucket, and we made a great heart sandcastle!

The cold water didn't stop Alaina from getting in.

We had a great time!

Clemson Sprints

A few weekends ago, Harry and I ventured back to Clemson for the 25th annual Clemson Sprints Regatta. Harry's parents babysat Alaina for the weekend so Harry and I were able to enjoy Sprints like real adults!

This was a picture of the alumni that made it back for Sprints.

This was the early 2000 group. Harry and I spent most of our time with this group over the weekend and these are some of our best friends from college. From left to right is Mike (Harry's seat partner - Harry was stroke, or 8, and Mike was 7 seat), Ciro, Wilson, Alaina, Harry, me, Lindsay Anne, and Bryan. Alaina and Lindsay Anne we the guest book attendants at our wedding.

The day after Sprints we ventured into Clemson to see the sights and take pictures. My building, Tillman Hall.

Someone painted a huge tiger paw on Bowman Field in front of Military Plaza.
